Remember that home inspections are something that might/might not reveal small or large capital expenses that you as the purchaser could be responsible for upon possession. While always good information to arm yourself for the negotiation and for a capital replacement plan for your home, sometimes you are faced with serious decisions: to make an offer or not, or, to make a conditional offer or not. When you know there are repairs/replacement needed, at the very least you can price this out and make an informed offer or conditional offer or back out. It just depends on what you want….
